Throughout the AFC, a handful of teams will be looking to make moves in order to try to topple the Kansas City Chiefs and supplant them as the top team in the conference.
But some other teams will be simply looking to get off the ground level and create a better and happier future for themselves.
The New England Patriots have been deep in the woods ever since legendary quarterback Tom Brady left following the 2019 season, but they have a glimmer of hope thanks to a nice rookie season from QB Drake Maye and the arrival of new head coach Mike Vrabel.
They will also have a ton of salary cap space that they can use to shape their roster for the next few years, per B/R Gridiron.

New England may not be able to land a true star in free agency, given the fact that they finished 4-13 this season, but they should be able to land a couple of men who will help them be more competitive moving forward.
They need help at almost every position, and it will obviously take them a few years to return to respectability.
Luckily, Maye showed some signs later this season that he could be a true franchise QB, and Vrabel is a coach who can squeeze the most out of an under-manned roster, something he often did in six seasons at the helm of the Tennessee Titans.
The Patriots will also have the No. 4 pick in April’s NFL draft, which means this will be the biggest offseason they have had in quite some time.
