The ‘AP Men’s College Basketball Coach of the Year winners’ quiz

Men’s college basketball has seen many titans of the coaching universe step down over the past half decade. Legendary coaches like Roy Williams, Jay Wright, Jim Boeheim and Mike Krzyzewski have all retired in recent years — but Michigan State’s Tom Izzo just keeps on ticking.

Izzo is in his 30th season at the helm for Sparty, and over the weekend passed Indiana’s Bobby Knight for the most all-time wins in the Big 10 with 354 thanks to a 79-65 win over Illinois.

“First of all, the guy I went by was a hell of a coach,” Izzo said of Knight after the game.

“Second of all, I just want to be thankful for the 148 players I’ve coached. Each one of them got a win, and those wins helped me.”

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Izzo is already in the Naismith Hall of Fame as a coach, with 10 Big 10 regular season titles, six Big 10 Tournament titles, eight trips to the Final Four and one NCAA Championship. With that being said, How many of the coaches to win the Associated Press Coach of the Year award in men’s basketball since the 1990-91 season can you name in six minutes?

Good luck!
