Micah Parsons Reacts To Podcast Criticism From Fan

Micah Parsons is one of the NFL’s most active players on social media, and he has his own podcast, “The Edge with Micah Parsons,” which appears to be very popular.

However, the star pass rusher arguably had his worst season in 2024, and the results on the field for the Dallas Cowboys were equally disappointing as they posted a losing record and failed to make the playoffs.

In fact, one fan claimed that Parsons has “fallen off of football” because of his focus on his podcast, which drew a social media response from the All-Pro.

“Let’s show fact and data to your claim and I’ll approve you claim!” Parsons wrote on X.

Parsons, who has now completed four NFL seasons, didn’t see his numbers fall off that much in 2024, and the drop he did see was likely due to a high ankle sprain that limited him to 13 games.

He finished the year with 12.0 sacks, 23 quarterback hits and 12 tackles for loss, and he has made the Pro Bowl in each season he has played thus far.

Unfortunately for him, his Cowboys just completed what has to be considered an embarrassing season.

Despite their star power, they went 7-10, and with no salary cap flexibility, it will be very difficult for them to upgrade what is a top-heavy roster.

Quarterback Dak Prescott received a four-year, $240 million contract extension just a few months ago, which has led some to accuse him of being overpaid, and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb also got a four-year, $136 million extension.

Parsons is now due for an extension of his own, and management will have to get creative to surround all three with the complementary players the team needs to seriously contend for a Super Bowl championship.
