Speaking to reporters ahead of Wednesday night’s game against the Los Angeles Kings, head coach Rick Tocchet provided an update on the 25-year-old captain.

“Quinn’s probably going to be a game-time (decision). He’s skating out there today, and he’s gonna go pretty hard to see how he felt,” Tocchet said.

Hughes has not played since a game on Jan. 31 against the Dallas Stars, missing the Canucks’ last six games due to injury.

He leads Vancouver in scoring with 59 points in 47 games this season.
