About a month ago, Julien Baker and TORRES announced their collaborative album, Send a Prayer My Way, sharing the single ‘Sylvia’. It was a Wednesday, which is a day that a lot of press release go out, and today (Wednesday, February 26), we get to hear another song from the LP called ‘Tuesday’. (Could have pushed it a day earlier!) Tuesday is in fact the name of the song’s subject, a lover in TORRES’ past whose memory is bound with shame. “And if I could only go back in time/ I’d rewrite our whole story,” she sings. Send a Prayer My Way, which also includes the early single ‘Sugar in the Tank’, arrives April 18 via Matador Records.
