Dallas Mavericks fans got to see their first game against Luka Doncic on Tuesday night, but that’s not all they saw.
They also witnessed Kyrie Irving with a different look.
Eagle-eyed viewers, such as those at Courtside Buzz, noted that Irving was sporting a new haircut and goatee combination for the big game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
People got to see a lot of his latest look because Irving was a major part of Tuesday’s game and a huge reassuring presence for nervous Mavericks fans.

A lot of people thought that Doncic would be scoring more than 30 points during Tuesday’s game, which was marketed as a “revenge” match for the young star.
But it was Irving who led the game with 35 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two blocks.
Irving was motivated, aggressive, and working well with the rest of the team.
It wasn’t enough for the Mavericks, who still fell 107-99, but it eased the worries of many Dallas fans who remain uncertain about the future without Doncic.
If Irving can lead his team like this, they could be in good shape.
Of course, health is a huge factor for the team, and they need all of their guys back before they can truly perform at 100 percent.
The final score could have been very different if the rest of the team, especially Anthony Davis, was on the court.
Still, Irving was looking great for a number of reasons during Tuesday’s game.
His team may have lost, but Irving was comfortable and in control all night long, and fans should expect to see much more of that in the post-Doncic era.
