The Boston Celtics are the defending NBA champions.
As such, they’re the team to beat until proven otherwise.
They have the same core from their championship run last season, and while they haven’t been the best team in the league in the regular season, the playoffs are the only thing that matters.
More than that, even if they don’t get the job done again this season, their core of stars is still young.
That’s why former NBA star DeMarcus Cousins believes Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum aren’t done winning championships just yet.
In the latest edition of FanDuel TV’s ‘Run It Back,’ the former All-Star predicted that the star duo would win at least three rings by the time it’s all said and done (Via Legion Hoops).

While that might sound like an ambitious take, it’s definitely not out of the question.
Despite their tough loss to the No. 1-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers, they’re still the odds-on favorites not only to come out of the Eastern Conference but also to win the whole thing.
Brown is 28 years old, and Tatum is 27, so they’re just entering their primes.
They could have at least four or five more years playing together at an elite level.
And if that’s not the case and one of them winds up being traded or leaving – which seems unlikely, given their mammoth contracts – they could still lead another team to a title as their primary scorers.
Brown and Tatum don’t get enough credit, but it’s impossible to deny that they’re two of the best players in the game right now.
