LeBron James Had Notable Career Milestone After Sunday’s Win

The Los Angeles Lakers scored their sixth win in a row on Sunday night, beating their southland rivals the Clippers for the second time in one week.

It was an important win for the Lakers and yet another historic one for LeBron James.

As noted by StatMamba on X, James notched his 1,000th career regular-season win on Sunday night.

Once again, he is doing things that few other NBA stars have.

As expected, James was a massive part of the Lakers’ win as he put up 17 points, five rebounds, and nine assists.

Even at 40 years old, the 21-time All-Star is averaging 24.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 8.6 assists.

He has been on a roll, especially over the last month, and some people believe that’s because of the addition of Luka Doncic.

Doncic is the future of the Lakers and is taking some of the responsibility off of James’ shoulders.

He loves playing with the young superstar and that was clear during Sunday’s game.

As for Doncic, he led the Lakers against the Clippers with 29 points, six rebounds, nine assists, and 5-of-12 from beyond the three-point line.

At this point, James has set so many NBA records that these sorts of milestones don’t have a huge impact.

He is just consistently setting the bar and doing things that haven’t happened before.

James has played in 1,547 regular season games during his 22-year career, so winning 1,000 of them is very impressive.

And, of course, James is going to work hard to add many more victories to that total.

Based on how the Lakers have been playing lately, a lot more wins could be coming this season.
