SEC Spotlight: Five important visits to watch this spring

SEC Spotlight: Five important visits to watch this spring

The calendar has turned to March and each visit prospects take is carrying more and more weight. Here are several important visits to keep an eye on in the SEC.

LAMAR BROWN’S MARCH 22 VISIT TO TEXAS A&M

Brown is coming down the back nine of his recruitment. The top-30 prospect is high on LSU and Texas A&M, and with official visits set to both SEC programs along with Miami and Florida State, we do not anticipate Brown playing too away from home in Louisiana. The Aggies have surfaced as the biggest threat to LSU since last summer, and they are a team with legitimate staying power. Texas A&M will get the elite defensive line target back to campus on March 22 for the first time this spring. Brown also has visits set back for April and June. This race remains fluid and close, and we expect the Aggies to keep on swinging away.

EZAVIER CROWELL’S MARCH 27 VISIT TO TEXAS

Crowell is set to make his first visit back to Texas later this month since the Longhorns tabbed Chad Scott to be their new running backs coach. Crowell, one of the nation’s best, is high on both Alabama and Auburn but the Longhorns have continued to keep this race tight. He will also officially visit Texas in June as the Horns look to shake up this recruitment after Crowell reclassified into the 2026 cycle.

BOOBIE FEASTER’S MARCH 13 VISIT TO LSU

Feaster is gearing up for a busy spring and summer after reclassifying into the 2026 group. Feaster is set to see some SEC heavyweights this month with trips planned to Alabama, LSU, Texas and others. Feaster, originally from Louisiana, will return to Baton Rouge for spring practices March 13 and will also return for an official visit in June. LSU is one of the front-runners for the elite receiver from DeSoto (Texas) High along with the Aggies and Longhorns. We expect the Tigers to be involved here until the finish line.

TRISTEN KEYS’ MARCH 10 VISIT TO TENNESSEE

Tennessee is one of the leading contenders in the mix with Keys, the No. 2 receiver in the Rivals250. The Vols hosted the five-star receiver twice in-season and now will get to roll out the red carpet for the elite pass-catcher as he returns to Rocky Top for a spring practice. The Vols are battling Texas A&M, LSU, Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss for the touted receiver and hold a slight edge in this one entering the spring.

FELIX OJO’S APRIL 18 VISIT TO OLE MISS

Ojo is set to make his first official visit on April 18 to Ole Miss. The Rebels have been mainstays in Ojo’s recruitment and a visit back to Oxford looms large for Lane Kiffin and John Garrison as they aim to close with the No. 11 prospect in the Rivals250. Texas and Ohio State have been setting the pace in Ojo’s recruitment, and Ole Miss has continued to stay afloat. His upcoming trip to the Grove looms large if the Rebels intend to keep pace in this one.
