Moontype Announce New Album, Share New Single ‘Four Hands ii’

Moontype have announced I Let the Wind Push Down On Me, the follow-up to their 2021 debut Bodies of Water. The 11-track LP, produced by Katie Von Schleicher and Nate Mendelsohn, arrives May 23 via Orindal. It includes the previously released single ‘Long Country’, which marked the band’s signing to Owen Ashworth’s label, as well as the sparkling and dynamic new track ‘Four Hands ii’. Check it out and find the album cover and tracklist below.

“This one is about desire,” singer/bassist Margaret McCarthy said of ‘Four Hands ii’. “Body desire, but it’s the same as the feeling of needing to drive really fast with the windows down and the music loud.”

“It took a while for us to figure this one out, but it’s become one of our favorites to play,” she continued. “I think the trick was finding the shape, the swells and the dips.”
