Aminé has confirmed that his new album, 13 Months of Sunshine, will be released on May 16 via 10K Projects. The record will follow 2020’s Limbo and the 2023 Kaytranada collaboration Kaytraminé. “You love somebody while knowing that it’s not the right thing to do, but it’s still hard to let go,” Aminé said of the song, which was co-produced by Buddy Ross, Jim-E Stack, Loukeman, and Pasqué. “I let a little bit of my toxic side onto the track, too, but I think that honesty is important.”
