There is increasing chatter about potential trades and changes that could be coming to the NBA this summer.
One name to watch is Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies.
As Memphis’ troubled season goes on, more and more people feel that Morant might be leaving the Grizzlies.
Speaking on “Run It Back,” Lou Williams said that may be a smart idea.
He said that a “change of scenery” could help Morant, who he still considers an All-Star talent, even though his numbers have dipped this year.
Ja Morant needs a change of scenery…he doesn’t fit in Memphis 😬

Morant is averaging 22.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game this season, which is slightly down from his 25.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 8.1 assists last year.
This season hasn’t been as impressive as last year and Morant has run into troubles with his team’s chemistry and with his own set of injuries.
The Grizzlies recently fired head coach Taylor Jenkins and there have been rumors about Morant unhappy with his decision to not give him the ball as often.
Now that Jenkins is gone, things could change with the lineup and the strategy, and Morant may be happier.
At the same time, the team continues to struggle, so perhaps things cannot be fixed.
Morant is a young man and has plenty of years left in the league, as long as he remains healthy and doesn’t have too many more off-court problems.
This season hasn’t been great but Morant is still viewed as one of the most exciting guards in the NBA.
Would moving to a different team start a new chapter for Morant and help him reach new heights, or will he remain in Memphis and hope that things get better next season?
Many people will be paying close attention to him over the next few weeks and months.
