The Denver Broncos made a surprising run to the playoffs in 2024 thanks to a revamped offense behind rookie quarterback Bo Nix, who had a stellar year with 29 touchdown passes en route to leading the Broncos to ten wins.
After a solid free agency period that saw the team bring in another big weapon for Nix in Evan Engram, the Broncos could be looking for more ammo on offense in the form of one intriguing wide receiver prospect who recently took a top-30 visit with Denver.
9NEWS reporter Mike Klis shared on X that the Broncos completed a top-30 visit with Missouri star receiver Luther Burden III, who could be a target for the team with the 20th overall pick.
“Per source, Broncos hosted a top 30 visit with Missouri WR Luther Burden III last week. Had huge 2023 season: 86-1212-9. Fell off some last year.”

Burden had a dominant 2023 season before taking a step back in 2024, largely due to Missouri quarterback Brady Cook regressing and missing some time with an injury.
Burden is seen as a dynamic YAC threat and caught a ton of passes at or behind the line of scrimmage at Missouri, which has some scouts questioning his ability as a downfield threat.
Tape shows that he is capable of separating downfield and had plenty of missed opportunities in college due to unexceptional quarterback play, which is something Nix could certainly help out with if Burden is the selection at No. 20.
The Broncos still have a big need at receiver with just Marvin Mims Jr. and Devaughn Vele next on the depth chart alongside Courtland Sutton.
Burden would be an intriguing slot option and would give head coach Sean Payton a fun new toy to work with.
