Louis Riddick has had quite the career since playing roughly a decade of football in the NFL and WLAF, spending over a decade as a scout and director of personnel for various teams after his playing career, before then spending the last 12 years as an analyst for ESPN.
It has been a story of three chapters for Riddick, who recently made a subtle hint about what his next chapter could be on X when he replied to a tweet suggesting he could be a candidate for one high-profile college job.
Riddick tweeted a photo of himself alongside legendary cornerback Champ Bailey and University of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders on Saturday, and when a fan replied to it asking if he could be the next general manager for Colorado, Riddick then replied, “Prime + me?” with a thinking face emoji.

Riddick opened the door for this kind of questioning with his caption for the photo he shared, which touched on how much he still loves being on the field.
Riddick spent eight years as the Director of Pro Personnel for the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles prior to joining ESPN, so he is more than qualified to take on a position like this.
Sanders isn’t shy about hiring big names to join his staff, as fellow Hall-of-Famers Warren Sapp and Marshall Faulk coach the defensive line and running backs alongside him.
Obviously, this is just a tweet, and Riddick hasn’t given any inclination about being unhappy at ESPN, but it’s always fun to speculate this time of year.
