Stats Show How Nikola Jokic Has Dominated This Season

Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets has had an NBA season that is downright stunning by any measure.

He may not win MVP again, but no one can debate just how terrific Jokic has been.

As pointed out by StatMuse, Jokic has been third in points per game, third in rebounds, second in assists, and second in steals in 2024-25.

He is the definition of a one-man team and has been thriving since the very first game.

Jokic’s season average currently sits at 30.0 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 10.2 assists per game, shooting 57.7 percent from the field and 41.5 percent from the three-point line.

It doesn’t matter which team he is playing against or who is defending him, Jokic creates shots or finds others who can.

He has been sensational and would be the clear frontrunner for MVP in any other year.

However, this year that honor will likely go to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

But that isn’t slowing Jokic down, and he is playing lights-out basketball, even as his team struggles.

The Nuggets have now lost four games in a row and sit as the fourth seed in the West.

They have faced some tough losses and at times appear tired and out of energy.

They will need to work hard to get back on track before the playoffs begin.

If the postseason kicked off today, the Nuggets would face off against the Los Angeles Clippers, a formidable opponent.

Everyone knows that Jokic would play well during that series, but would it be enough?

NBA fans have seen Jokic leave it all on the court and do unprecedented things only to watch the Nuggets lose.

Is that a trend that will continue in the playoffs?
