Adam Schefter Reportedly Makes ‘Guarantee’ About Eagles’ Draft Plans

The Philadelphia Eagles entered the offseason as the defending champions.

They already had one of the most stacked teams in the league, and they kept all of their core guys.

However, even the best teams can be better, and this team isn’t the exception to that rule.

That’s why Howie Roseman will continue to take the same approach to roster-building.

According to a report by ESPN insider Adam Schefter, he believes the Eagles are “guaranteed” to make a trade or two during the NFL Draft.

The defending champions currently have eight draft picks in the upcoming three-day event: No. 32 (Round 1), No. 64 (Round 2), No. 96 (Round 3), No. 134 (Round 4), No. 161, No. 164, No. 165, and No. 168 (Round 5).

They clearly don’t need to add that many players to their star-studded roster, especially if you consider the fact that they have more than enough young talent on team-friendly deals already.

Roseman has never been afraid of pulling the trigger and taking big risks, especially during draft night.

This is a team that can afford to take risks and swing for the fences because of the strong foundation they’ve laid.

For as long as Roseman is there calling the shots, this will always be a team to keep a close eye on whenever a star player becomes available.

And with so many fifth-round picks available to deal, perhaps the Eagles will find a way to climb the ladder in the first or second rounds to keep adding even more firepower to their behemoth of a team.
