It seems like the Tennessee Titans have made up their minds already.
There weren’t many doubts about whether Cam Ward was going to be the first player taken off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft, but there was a point when it seemed like the Titans were ready to trade down.
That no longer seems to be the case.
If anything, they might be bracing themselves to give him one of his preferred weapons.
According to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN, they will meet with Washington State standout WR Kyle Williams today.
Washington St. WR Kyle Williams is visiting today with the Tennessee Titans. Williams was former teammates with Cam Ward, who is tracking to be Tennessee’s No. 1 overall pick. Tennesse’s OC Nick Holz was also Williams’ OC at UNLV. Now Williams could be in play to team up again…

This is relevant because he has some strong ties to people in the organization, as offensive coordinator Nick Holz was his offensive coordinator at UNLV.
If that wasn’t enough, he also used to be teammates with Cam Ward.
They reportedly developed a strong chemistry on and off the field, so this is yet another sign of their decision to take the Miami product with their first-round pick.
Ward is the clear-cut best quarterback prospect in this class, and while the bar isn’t particularly high, he looks like a potential star in the making.
Granted, the Titans will still need to add more pieces around him to get back to playoff contention, but reuniting him with one of his weapons of choice would certainly be a step in the right direction.
We’re a little over two weeks away from the NFL Draft, and, barring a shocking turn of events, Ward will be taking his talents to Music City.
