Once locked in a tight competition with Shedeur Sanders for the title of top quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft, Cam Ward has pulled ahead as the clear favorite.

His selection by the Tennessee Titans with the No. 1 overall pick appears increasingly likely as the draft approaches.

Ward recently connected with fans during a Fortnite streaming session, fielding various football questions.

He shared his thoughts on the top NFL head coaches, best running backs and premier wide receivers.

Notably, Ward included two Titans among his favorite receivers, fueling speculation about his draft destination.

Ward raised eyebrows by naming Ridley as the NFL’s best active wide receiver.

This selection surprised many followers, considering Ridley’s 2024 performance for the Titans didn’t rank among the league’s elite.

He finished the season with 64 receptions for 1,017 receiving yards and four touchdowns, statistics that placed him outside the top 20 receivers in those key categories.

Ward’s inclusion of Jefferson and Chase generates far less controversy.

Chase, the Cincinnati Bengals star, delivered a career-best season, leading the NFL in receptions, yards and touchdowns.

Jefferson has demonstrated remarkable consistency for the Minnesota Vikings, averaging almost 100 catches and 1,500 yards per season.

Ward completed his list with another Titans receiver, Burks, as his fourth choice.

This selection seemed particularly revealing, as Burks has modest career numbers with 53 receptions and 699 yards in his three NFL seasons.

Ward’s receiver rankings support discussions about his probable landing spot, with his enthusiasm for Tennessee’s offensive weapons very apparent.
