Cam Ward Names Top-5 NFL Head Coaches

The online gaming universe served as an unlikely stage for NFL Draft revelations as Cam Ward engaged with fans during what appeared to be a simple stream.

Ward’s responses began forming a pattern that caught the attention of eagle-eyed NFL fans, ones that pointed squarely toward the Tennessee Titans.

Asked about his favorite NFL head coaches, Ward’s list raised some eyebrows.

He prefaced his selections by clarifying they weren’t necessarily the league’s best coaches, just his personal favorites.

Topping his list was Brian Callahan of the Titans, who happen to hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Ward’s second favorite coach was Kevin Stefanski of the Cleveland Browns, who hold the No. 2 overall pick.

Third was Brian Daboll from the New York Giants, who have the No. 3 overall pick.

Next came Pete Carroll of the Las Vegas Raiders (No. 6 overall selection), before Aaron Glenn of the New York Jets, owners of the No. 7 overall pick.

The pattern was unmistakable, as Ward’s coaching preferences aligned perfectly with teams positioned at the top of the draft.

He notably did not name the teams with an established quarterback in place: Drake Maye and the New England Patriots (No. 4 overall) and Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 5).

Callahan brings considerable quarterback development experience to the table, making him an ideal mentor for a young talent like Ward.

The chemistry between Ward and Callahan could prove essential not only for the quarterback’s professional growth but for the franchise’s trajectory in coming seasons.

Based on Ward’s telling Fortnite session, that relationship may already be developing behind the scenes.
