Insider Says 1 Player Is A ‘Home Run’ For Giants At No. 3

The New York Giants have a big decision to make as far as who they will take with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Even though they signed veterans Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson, there seems to be a good chance they will take a quarterback in the draft, whether they do so in the first round or later on.

If they use their first selection on a quarterback, it likely will be Shedeur Sanders, the talented but polarizing Colorado star.

FOX Sports analyst Jordan Schultz recently said that Sanders would be the right pick for the Giants.

“Just because he’s not an electric runner doesn’t mean he’s not a good athlete. … I really like Shedeur Sanders and I think that the Giants at 3 is a home run,” Schultz said on “Speak.”

Sanders has his share of doubters because of his lack of top-end athleticism and arm strength, as well as his swagger and the fact that his father is Deion Sanders, who was his head coach at Colorado.

But Shedeur Sanders did demonstrate some real potential in college.

He threw for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season while completing an outstanding 74.0 percent of his pass attempts.

However, New York has many needs besides quarterback, so even if they believe in Shedeur Sanders, that No. 3 pick won’t be an easy decision given the other tantalizing prospects who will be available.
