Saints 3-Time All-Pro OL Has Announced His Retirement

The New Orleans Saints came into the offseason knowing they had to make some moves if they wanted to compete in the 2025 campaign and beyond.

Last year didn’t go as planned, and with Derek Carr not being quite what they were looking for under center, there’s a real chance that the Saints could look elsewhere at that position in the draft and via free agency.

They also have many other holes to fill and to get better at if they want to compete in the NFC South, and it will be interesting to see what product they put on the field next year.

This might seem like an uphill battle already, but it appears that the Saints will also have to replace one of their offensive linemen.

Ari Meirov recently reported that RT Ryan Ramczyk has played his final down in the NFL and is officially retiring.

Ramczyk was a three-time Pro Bowler, as Meirov mentioned, and has played for the Saints since he was drafted in 2017.

A former first-round pick, Ramczyk certainly made his impact known on this team, especially when he was protecting Drew Brees.

Now, it’s back to the drawing board for the Saints, who have one more position to worry about over the next few months.

The NFC South is still relatively wide open, as it has been for the past several seasons, so the Saints still have a fighting chance if they get the right players in place on both sides of the ball.
