For an athlete to go from merely making it to the pro level of his sport to becoming a star, he must have dedication to his craft.
That means not only working on his skills, strength and conditioning, but also being committed to his health.
In recent years, athletes have shown more focus on that aspect, such as diet, sleep and mental fitness, and some spend an incredible amount of money to keep their bodies and minds right.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb recently revealed that he spends more than $1 million a year on his health for items such as ice baths, hot tubs and hyperbaric chambers.
“I’m not going to lie. It’s a lot of money. Every two weeks is $50,000. … There are 52 weeks in a year. … That’s your number,” Lamb said, via Dov Kleiman.
Insane: Cowboys star WR CeeDee Lamb spends over $1 MILLION per year on his health:

That may seem like an exorbitant sum of money to spend on staying as healthy as possible, but Lamb made more than $39 million last season and will make almost $28 million for the 2025 campaign, so $1 million may be a mere drop in the bucket.
No one can argue with the results, as most consider him one of the top five wideouts in the NFL.
He caught 101 passes for 1,194 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns last season, which earned him his fourth straight Pro Bowl nod.
On the other hand, his Cowboys need a serious infusion of good health, as they went 7-10 in 2024 and don’t seem to have a good chance at returning to the playoffs after another underwhelming offseason.
