Luka Doncic has been with the Los Angeles Lakers for just a few months, and, according to him, he wants to remain there for the rest of his career.
Sitting down with ESPN, via Legion Hoops, Doncic spoke about his loyalty and what it means to him.
When asked if he wants to remain with the Lakers, Doncic was plain and to the point and simply said, “Yes.”
This is exactly what Lakers fans want to hear.

According to all inside reporting, Doncic had no desire to leave the Dallas Mavericks.
He was just as shocked as everyone else when he was traded because he had made it clear that he would be a Maverick for life.
That sense of loyalty didn’t go away just because he changed teams, and now he wants to stick with his new squad for the rest of his career.
The Lakers would be more than happy to make that happen, although it will cost them a lot of money.
Doncic should be getting a new contract with the Lakers soon, and while it may not be as big as the one he would have received from the Mavericks, it’ll still be massive.
The Lakers want to be in the Doncic business for as long as possible, and they will pay whatever they have to.
Doncic was put in an impossibly difficult position when he was traded to LA, but he has made the most of it so far, and the fans are loving every second.
He and his Lakers will start their playoff push on Saturday, and that will be when Doncic really shows his value and reminds loyal LA followers why they want him in a Lakers uniform forever.
