Watch: Rockets’ Alperen Sengun puts Draymond Green on poster

Alperen Sengun got his revenge on Draymond Green and then some during Sunday’s Game 1.

During the first quarter of his team’s playoff series opener against the Golden State Warriors, the Rockets center Sengun gave the Warriors star Green an emphatic Kodak moment. Less than two minutes into the contest, Sengun received a pass from his teammate Jalen Green and was able to get a very lengthy runway to the basket. Green attempted to rotate over to contest Sengun but was way late and ended up getting dunked into the next dimension by the Turkish big man.

Here is the video.

Green is a former NBA Defensive Player of the Year winner who has been openly campaigning to win the award again this year (and has a fairly solid shot to do so). But he will probably want to burn the footage of Sengun’s war crime on him there.

Sengun, a first-time NBA All-Star for the Rockets this season, was notably elbowed in the face by Green during the last meeting between the two teams on April 6. Houston won that game 106-96, but Sengun clearly experienced some real pain along the way.

But during Sunday’s playoff game, the 6-foot-11 Sengun was successfully able to use his physical advantage over the 6-foot-6 Green. It is not all that often that Green gets denotated on like that, but this definitely brings back memories of just a few days ago when Green suffered another very embarrassing moment during a crucial game.
