Indian benchmark indices declined for the second consecutive session on Friday, with the Sensex shedding nearly 600 points and the Nifty closing below the 24,050 level, as investor sentiment turned cautious amid rising geopolitical tensions following a deadly terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir.The 30-share BSE Sensex declined 588 points, or 0.74%, to close at 79,212, while the broader NSE Nifty dropped 207 points, or 0.86%, to end at 24,039.
