Betting Odds Show Co-Favorites For Offensive Rookie Of The Year

When the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft ended, oddsmakers wasted no time establishing the favorites for Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Quarterback Cam Ward, selected No. 1 overall by the Tennessee Titans, and running back Ashton Jeanty, taken at No. 6 by the Las Vegas Raiders, emerged as the early frontrunners, each carrying +350 odds to claim the award.

“Ashton Jeanty and Cam Ward are currently co-favorites to win Offensive Rookie of the Year — who you got?” ESPN BET wrote on X.

Carolina Panthers receiver Tetairoa McMillan is at +550, while Jacksonville Jaguars wideout Travis Hunter follows at +650.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden, Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton and New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart round out the notable contenders.

Surprisingly, quarterback Shedeur Sanders and running back TreVeyon Henderson are in the conversation despite not being drafted in the first round.

Last season taught NFL fans that preseason favorites don’t always deliver on expectations.

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels won Offensive Rookie of the Year despite entering the season at +500 odds, outperforming Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams, who began as the heavy favorite at +130.

The 2025 season will reveal whether Ward and Jeanty can maintain their early momentum and translate the draft-day excitement into production when they take the field.
