The former La Salle Lady Spiker called it quits after F2 Logistics’ disbandment in December 2023.
Returning wasn’t initially part of the plan the Filipino-Canadian player’s plans, but Tiamzon said felt that she has an unfinished business to settle.
“Playing in the PVL again was not in my bingo card for 2025. I did not know that I would still be given a chance to play pro again, but it has been given to me so I took it. I realized that I won’t be as young as I am right now. I feel like when I last left the league, I haven’t really reached my full potential,” said Tiamzon through the Cignal HD Spikers.
“At this age, I think that I still have a chance to do so and I don’t want to look back at my volleyball career and be filled with questions of ‘what ifs’.”

Tiamzon’s La Salle and F2 Logistics teammate, Dawn Macandili-Catindig, opened the opportunity for her at Cignal.
“It started when I was approached by ate Dawn when I last visited in January. From there, I have been in communication with coach Shaq (Delos Santo) and coach Yani (Fernandez). They were willing to take me on, despite being away from professional volleyball for two years,” said Tiamzon.
“I am very grateful that they have full trust in me as I do in them. I have always seen Cignal as a very competitive team and I think at this point as well, they are somewhat rebuilding which is aligned to me starting anew with my career.”

Cignal finally made a personnel move after an exodus in the middle of the All-Filipino Conference, where it lost Ces Molina and Ria Meneses.
The team also recently let go of Jov Fernandez, who signed with Nxled.
The 27-year-old Tiamzon will join a young core of Ishie Lalongisip, Vanie Gandler, and Judith Abil in their bid to redeem themselves after missing the quarterfinals, where it fell fellt to Galeries in the qualifying round and lost to ZUS Coffee in the play-in.
“I’m pretty excited to return and to experience it with new teammates and new coaches,” said Tiamzon. “I’m also looking forward to playing against my former teammates and see how they are playing with their current teams. I’m excited to see their growth as players and the growth of the league as a whole.”
The HD Spikers are also picking sixth overall in the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft on June 8.
