Stats Show Concerning Trend For LeBron James In Last 3 Playoffs Series

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is one of the most important and historic postseason players of all time, but his recent runs in the playoffs leave much to be desired.

As pointed out by Courtside Buzz, James is just 2-12 over his last 14 playoff games.

It all started back in 2023, when he and his Lakers went 0-4 against the Denver Nuggets.

One year later, they went just 1-4 against the very same team.

This season, they were taken down 1-4 by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the opening round.

Can anything return James to postseason glory?

Despite all he has achieved throughout his iconic career, this is not a good record for James and his Lakers.

It wasn’t supposed to be this way in 2024-25.

The addition of Luka Doncic was a game-changer, and many Lakers fans felt it was key to pushing LA far in the playoffs.

Instead, the Lakers completely fell apart in the opening round.

Many fans note that James and his team are still without a strong big man who can provide the team with production in the paint and powerful defense.

But others will point out that Anthony Davis was a part of the team during their previous playoff disappointments, and he’s one of the best big men of his generation.

The problems in LA might go deeper than simple roster issues.

The Lakers obviously have a lot of talent, and Doncic could truly give them the upper hand in the postseason.

But right now the needle hasn’t moved much, and the Lakers are starting a long summer break.

During that break, general manager Rob Pelinka and his staff will be working hard to ensure this record doesn’t get any worse next year.
