The Dallas Cowboys just got another star.
As long as he’s focused and in control, George Pickens can be an absolute star.
With that in mind, former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky took to X to get the fans hyped up and showed some stats to prove how good a player Pickens is:
“For all @dallascowboys fans your new WR George Pickens averages 16.3 yards/receptions for his career. That ranks 1st among 44 players with 2,000 Rec yds across the last 3 seasons (2022-24),” Orlovsky wrote on X.

Of course, no one doubts Pickens’ talent.
His athleticism is off the charts, and he’s shown the potential to be a superstar.
Nevertheless, he’s had some well-documented character issues, both on and off the field.
That doesn’t necessarily bode well with Jerry Jones, who’s usually the center of attention in Arlington and who won’t mince his words about anything when he makes his weekly radio appearances.
Pickens threw multiple temper tantrums and constantly followed and unfollowed the Pittsburgh Steelers after games.
His passive-aggressive tactics showed his discontent in Pennsylvania, and given Mike Tomlin’s history with volatile-character players, it’s not much of a surprise to see the Steelers moving on from him, as talented as he is.
Whatever the case, having him line up opposite CeeDee Lamb could bring the best out of both of them, as opposing teams won’t be able to double both of them.
Then again, Dak Prescott has had some struggles when he’s been asked to lead the offense without a strong running game, so perhaps being a pass-heavy team won’t be in their best interest.
This move could turn out to be great, but they need to make sure that he buys into the system.
