The Minnesota Timberwolves had a rough night on Tuesday and lost Game 1 of their series against the Golden State Warriors.
There were numerous reasons for their loss, but one of them was their abysmal three-point shooting.
Following the game, Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle were confronted with their poor three-point shooting.
“You guys going 12/76 [from three-points] over the last two games is the worst three-point shooting in the NBA Playoffs,” a reporter told them, via a video shared by Legion Hoops.
Edwards’ reaction said it all, and he clearly isn’t happy about his team’s performance.

Holding a record for the worst three-point shooting in the NBA playoffs isn’t good, especially for a team that did quite well from beyond the arc during the regular season.
It’s even more pressing because they are now playing against a team that usually shoots terrifically from downtown.
However, the Warriors will now be without Steph Curry for a while because of an injury, which will impair their output of threes.
Still, the Timberwolves absolutely have to improve their three-point shooting as quickly as possible if they wish to win this series.
Edwards will be a huge part of that because he made threes a central focus of his offensive output this season.
Some fans were unhappy about that because they felt he was relying too much on outside shooting instead of making his way into the paint.
Perhaps all of the work he put into three-point shooting will pay off now.
Minnesota fans are looking for some substantial improvements between Games 1 and 2, and they will not be happy if the Timberwolves continue to struggle from a distance.
