The Indiana Pacers showed their never-say-die attitude yet again in a Game 2 thriller against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
For most of the contest, an Indiana loss seemed inevitable as Cleveland built a 20-point lead and maintained a 14-point cushion heading into the fourth quarter.
Even with under a minute left, Cleveland still held what normally would be a comfortable seven-point lead.
But these Pacers have rewritten the rules of what seems possible in the closing minutes.
In fact, recent stats highlighted just how clutch Indiana has been in the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
“Three teams have come back from 7+ points down in the final minute of playoff games in the play-by-play era,” the NBA wrote on X. “Two of those three teams are the Pacers, this season.”

Their resilience has been a defining feature of this postseason, silencing critics who dismissed Tyrese Haliburton as overrated.
The Pacers started their second-round series against the Cavaliers with perfect execution, winning Game 1 on the road.
This latest victory puts them in position to possibly finish a sweep in Games 3 and 4 at home.
Game 2 against the Cavs reached its dramatic peak when Haliburton missed a free throw but got a second chance thanks to Myles Turner tipping the rebound his way.
With seconds ticking away, Haliburton skillfully maneuvered around Ty Jerome, created just enough separation, and drilled a game-winning 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds remaining.
The Pacers transformed a late deficit into a 120-119 victory, adding another remarkable comeback to their playoff resume.
