This year, Hart played an average of 37.6 minutes per game, higher than anyone else in the league.
Last season, it was 33.4 minutes per game.
And he hasn’t been taking much time off, playing and starting in 77 games during 2024-25.
Last season, he was in 81 games, starting in 42 of them.
Hart joined the Knicks with the intention of playing as much as possible.
During his career, Hart has played all sorts of roles, sometimes as a starter and other times as a bench star.
Now in New York, he has firmly become part of the team’s starting rotation and plans to stay that way.
This season, Hart averaged 13.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 5.9 assists on 52.5 percent from the field.
Beyond the numbers, Hart has been key with the team’s chemistry.
One of the reasons for New York’s success has been its culture and the way the players get along with one another.
Hart has provided a ton of support and camaraderie with his teammates.
He is putting in a lot of minutes, which was made clear by this trophy, but Hart does much more than just that for his Knicks.
