It’s been a couple of years since we found out Rihanna had joined the cast of Smurfs as the voice of Smurfette. Today, the pop star is back with a new song from the movie’s soundtrack, ‘Friend of Mine’, which arrives with an accompanying video. Rihanna, Elijah Noll, Elkan, Tenroc, Jonathan Bellion, Lee Stashenko, and Pete Nappi co-wrote the track, which was co-produced by Bellion, Nappi, and f a l l e n. Check it out below.

‘Friend of Mine’ is the second track to be released from the Smurfs soundtrack – out June 13 – following Desi Trill, DJ Khaled, Cardi B, Natania, and Subhi’s ‘Higher Love’. It marks Rihanna’s first music since 2022’s ‘Lift Me Up’ and ‘Born Again’, which she recorded for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
