Canterbury winger Jacob Kiraz has been ruled out for a month with a calf problem, ending his chances of a State of Origin debut.
He suffered the injury in Friday’s win over the Roosters and will be replaced by Blake Wilson for the Thursday night duel with the Dolphins at Accor Stadium.
Canterbury captain Stephen Crichton is in the clear after copping a grade-one dangerous contact charge that carries with it a $3000 fine after Canterbury’s win over the Tricolours.
Middle forward Josh Curran will make his return from a shoulder charge ban for the Dogs against the Dolphins, who will be without skipper Tom Gilbert for a lengthy stretch after he suffered a pectoral injury in their loss to the Warriors on Saturday.
On the judiciary front, Warriors prop James Fisher-Harris has been banned one week for a high shot on Dolphins utility Harrison Graham.
Fisher-Harris was sin-binned late in the second half after his shoulder connected with Graham’s head in a tackle gone wrong.
Kodi Nikorima, Reuben Garrick and Siosifa Talakai all received fines for foul play. Melbourne star Ryan Papenhuyzen has avoided any charge over his last-minute hit on Ronaldo Mulitalo.

Eels vs Sea Eagles at CommBank Stadium: 8pm, Friday May 23
Eels: With Mitchell Moses and possibly Zac Lomax on Origin duty, Jason Ryles will need to make changes. Second-rower Kelma Tulagi (suspension) is available for selection.
Sea Eagles: Jake Trbojevic will be out for a couple of weeks due to the heavy concussion he copped in the win over North Queensland while Tommy Talau is a maybe due to a hamstring problem. Josh Aloiai (shoulder) is an outside chance of making a return while hooker Lachlan Croker (knee) is another fortnight away.
Panthers vs Knights at Carrington Park, Bathurst: 5.30pm, Saturday May 24
Panthers: Coming off a bye is a bonus but being without their Origin stars means they will field a heavily depleted line-up with Nathan Cleary, Isaah Yeo, Brian To’o and Llam Martin in NSW camp.
Kiwi forward Scott Sorensen returns from suspension.
Knights: Greg Marzhew (knee) will be out for another 2-3 weeks so 20-year-old debutant Fletcher Hunt could retain his spot on the wing while Kiwi prop Leo Thompson is OK after sitting out the loss to the Eels with a head knock.
A new fullback will be needed with Kalyn Ponga set to be selected for Queensland.

Roosters vs Sharks at Industree Group Stadium, Gosford: 7.35pm, Saturday May 24
Sharks: Second-rower Teig Wilton (shoulder) was close to a return last week so he should be right but Tom Hazelton is likely to be out again with a similar injury.
Young winger Sam Stonestreet (ankle) limped off in the win over Melbourne.
Roosters: Lindsay Collins (Maroons) and Angus Crichton and Spencer Leniu (Blues) are all but certain to be in Origin camp so Trent Robinson’s forward depth will be stretched.
Warriors vs Raiders at Go Media Stadium: 4:05pm, Sunday May 25
Warriors: Kiwi prop James Fisher-Harris (suspension) is out this week for a high shot in the win over the Dolphins while outside backs Ali Leiataua (ankle), Rocco Berry (hamstring) and Ed Kosi (shoulder) are nearing a return from injury, along with forwards Jackson Ford (concussion) and Bunty Afoa (knee).
Raiders: Hudson Young is the only Raider likely to be in Origin calculations.
