The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) is set to announce the next host and schedule of the Batang Pinoy National Championships during the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum on Tuesday.

The announcement is expected to be the highlight of the forum scheduled at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex’s conference hall. Also on tap are discussions on the ongoing refurbishment projects at major sports venues.

Top PSC officials led by Chair Dickie Bachmann will grace the forum and they will provide details on the annual multisport event for young Filipino athletes. The Batang Pinoy program, one of the PSC’s cornerstone grassroots initiatives, gathers young talents from across the country for competition and development.

The second session will focus on the rehabilitation work being carried out by E-Sports International at the Rizal Memorial Football Field and the Mindanao Civic Center. These updates are part of the PSC’s broader infrastructure development efforts.

Bachmann and newly elected Lanao del Norte 1st District Rep. Imelda Dimaporo will highlight he importance of these programs for sports development and youth engagement.

The forum begins at 10:30 a.m. and is presented by San Miguel Corporation, the PSC, the Philippine Olympic Committee, Milo, Smart/PLDT and ArenaPlus. It will be livestreamed via the PSA’s Facebook page and aired later over Radyo Pilipinas 2.
