Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Makes Thunder Playoff History On Thursday

It’s been quite the week for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Not only is his team doing really well in the Western Conference Finals, but he was also named the league’s MVP.

On top of that, Gilgeous-Alexander has been doing incredible things during the playoffs.

According to the league, Gilgeous-Alexander is now the first player in Thunder franchise history to record five consecutive 30+ point games in the playoffs.

It all started with a 31-point performance, followed by 32 points, 35 points, 31 points, and lastly 38 points on Thursday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

He’s on a roll, but can he keep it going?

Gilgeous-Alexander was feeling great on Thursday night.

Just moments after celebrating his MVP win, he was able to impress the Oklahoma City crowd and give them a massive 118-103 win.

He posted 38 points, three rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.

It was yet another wonderful night for the MVP, who might be on his way to winning a few more trophies.

While the Timberwolves can come back, rallying from a 2-0 hole is very hard.

That means the Thunder could be on their way to the Finals soon.

If they win that, there is a very good chance that Gilgeous-Alexander will be named Finals MVP as well as a champion.

That would cap off one of the best seasons NBA fans have seen in a very long time.

Gilgeous-Alexander has been sensational since the start of the year, and these numbers prove that he isn’t slowing down any time soon, no matter who he is playing against or how high the stakes are.
