The New York Knicks fought hard against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, and now the Eastern Conference Finals feels like a true fight.
Following New York’s 106-100 win over the Pacers, Stephon Marbury hopped on social media to share his thoughts.
“Here we are, 2-1. It’s a fight. We ain’t do nothing yet. We want to get back in the mix. We’re getting back in it. Get ready for the next game, lock in, focus, you’ll see the orange and blue, baby. That’s what we’re doing,” Marbury said in a video shared on X.
Marbury thinks the Knicks haven’t even started to prove what they are capable of.
Instead, he feels that Sunday’s win over the Pacers was just a taste of what’s to come, and the Knicks are finding themselves and their footing.
The fans sure hope so, because they need to see their team compete just as hard in Game 4.
In fact, they want to witness them playing even better because the Knicks fell into a 20-point hole on Sunday.
There was a moment when it felt like they were on their way to a 3-0 deficit in the series, a massively difficult situation that could have ruined any chance of reaching the Finals.
The Knicks didn’t give up, and multiple players were able to fight and claw and keep them in contention.
Was this the Knicks hitting the reset button and finally getting on track against these Pacers?
Will they keep the same energy as they move into Game 4?
Marbury seems to think so, but many New York fans will be very nervous until this series is over.
The Knicks erased some fears during Sunday’s game, but they aren’t in the clear yet.
