“Lockdown libero secured!” the team wrote. “The 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference Best Libero Alyssa Eroa is brewing up big plays with the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles.”

The former San Sebastian Lady Stag is set to provide defensive stability for ZUS Coffee, joining the main gunners Jovelyn Gonzaga, Chai Troncoso, Chinnie Arroyo, setter Chlo Mondoñedo, and last season’s No.1 overall pick and Rookie of the Year, Thea Gagate.

Eroa will be honored as the Comeback Player of the Year and season’s Best Libero on Wednesday at the Pilipinas Live PVL Press Corps Awards presented by ArenaPlus.

From being a winless squad in its first two conferences, ZUS Coffee made a breakthrough last season, surviving the Play-In and pushing eventual champion Petro Gazz to a hard-fought best-of-three quarterfinals series.

The Thunderbelles got a great leader and libero in Eroa ahead of the next PVL conference.

Eroa made an inspiring comeback to the pros last year with the HighRisers, whom she led to a breakthrough quarterfinals appearance in the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference.

Despite a one-win preliminary round campaign, Galeries stunned the No.3 Cignal for its first playoff entry, putting up a gallant stand against Akari before bowing out in Game 2.
