With just four teams left in contention, and both series standing at 2-1 after three games, the NBA Finals are just around the corner.
Anything can happen at this point, as we’ve seen some blowouts and incredible comebacks throughout the course of the entire playoffs.
Nevertheless, oddsmakers seem to have a big favorite to go the distance this season.
As shown by ESPN BET on X, the OKC Thunder are the odds-on favorites to win the Larry O’Brien trophy this time (-270).
They’re followed by the Indiana Pacers (+500), New York Knicks (+1100), and Minnesota Timberwolves (+1100).

Of course, it can all change after every game, and while the Thunder clearly look to be ahead of the rest of the pack, everybody has a strong case.
The Timberwolves made a huge statement by blowing out the Thunder in the first half of Game 3 after not being very competitive in the first two games of the series, and they have a generational talent in Anthony Edwards.
The Pacers deserve a lot of credit for their resiliency, and while no one gave them much credit, they’ve been the best team in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
The Knicks, on the other hand, took down the defending NBA champions, and while they’re banged up, they have the more talented team in the East.
Last but not least, the Thunder have the reigning MVP in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and two two-way stars in Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren.
But the NBA is where amazing happens, and projections will be meaningless unless teams can prove their superiority on the court.
