The Pittsburgh Steelers continue their aggressive approach to building their receiver room with another addition to their 90-man roster.
The team signed Montana Lemonious-Craig, a former Colorado Buffaloes wideout who was once considered a rising college star.
At 22, Lemonious-Craig brings both experience and upside after spending three seasons at Colorado before transferring to Arizona following the 2023 spring portal window.
“The Steelers have signed UDFA WR Montana Lemonious-Craig to the 90-man roster, the team announced,” Yahoo Sports shared.

The signing was announced late Monday morning after OTAs started.
Now he’s set to compete for a spot in Pittsburgh as another intriguing piece added to the Steelers’ offseason puzzle.
Pittsburgh has bulked up their wide receiver room, now boasting 11 players at the position. Headlining the depth chart are DK Metcalf, Robert Woods, Calvin Austin, Scotty Miller, Ben Skowronek and Roman Wilson.
The 6-foot-2 wideout made his mark at Colorado across the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Despite the Buffs winning only five games during that stretch, he managed 482 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
His chemistry with quarterback Shedeur Sanders was developing during spring 2023, and it showed.
In front of a packed crowd at Folsom Field, Lemonious-Craig racked up 169 yards on six catches including a highlight-reel 98-yard score.
However, the momentum didn’t last. Just 24 hours after that impressive showing, Lemonious-Craig entered the transfer portal.
His departure from Deion Sanders’ program surprised many who expected him to be a key contributor for the revamped Buffaloes.
His Arizona chapter proved disappointing. The former three-star recruit never clicked with Wildcats quarterback Noah Fifita over two seasons.
After posting 296 yards and three scores in 2023, his production dropped even further this past year when he failed to reach 200 receiving yards.
