Nick Wright Predicts Which Team Will Win NBA Finals

The Oklahoma City Thunder are on the brink of glory, just one win away from the NBA Finals after a nail-biting Game 4.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the star of the show, racking up an impressive 40 points, nine assists, and ten rebounds.

The Thunder’s young core stepped up in a big way, making a powerful statement when it mattered most. It was a fierce back-and-forth battle, but Minnesota couldn’t seal the deal in the clutch.

The performance didn’t go unnoticed by Fox Sports analyst Nick Wright, who made a bold prediction on “First Things First.”

“I’m excited for the rest of the Eastern Conference Finals and I’m excited to watch the NBA Finals, but this NBA season is over. What they (O.K.C.) have proved last night is – they are the 2025 NBA champions.” Wright said.

While Wright isn’t ready to declare a dynasty just yet, his comparison to the 2012 Thunder squad, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden, isn’t far-fetched.

This group has already outperformed them in a key playoff moment, and they did it as a cohesive unit.

No one expected this level of dominance so soon, especially after their intense battle with Jokic. But here they are, outplaying a deep Minnesota team and looking like they’ve gained years of playoff experience in just one run.

Jalen Williams also had a standout game, scoring 34 points and hitting six three-pointers.

Chet Holmgren, the hometown hero, delivered one of his best playoff performances yet with 21 points, seven rebounds, and three crucial blocks.

The final score was a close 128-126, with Minnesota having a chance to win it late but failing to execute when it mattered most.

With no LeBron-led threat or proven juggernaut waiting in the Finals, if the stars continue to shine like this, it’s hard to imagine anyone else lifting the trophy.
