MANILA, Philippines—The Gilas Pilipinas Women’s 3×3 squad notched Stop 2 of the Fiba 3×3 Youth Nations League 2025 Asia-Pacific 1 Conference in convincing fashion.
The Philippines defeated Chinese Taipei, 21-13, in Doha, Qatar, on Friday to rule Stop 2 of the continental meet.

Kacey Dela Rosa spearheaded Gilas Women’s 3×3 with 12 points while Cielo Pagdulagan and Kristine Cayabyab contributed to the win with four points each.
Li Chen-i led the Chinese with eight points but to no avail as they finished second in the Doha games.
Friday’s win was no isolated case for the girls of the Philippines as they also defeated Singapore, 18-9, and Qatar, 21-4, in the earlier stages.
The men’s 3×3 squad, meanwhile, settled for a third-place finish with a win over Indonesia, 19-11, where Nic Cabañero scored nine points.
Unfortunately, they weren’t able to head to the gold medal game after succumbing to Qatar, 21-19.
