PSG strikes first in Champions League final against Inter Milan

Paris Saint-Germain got off to a fantastic start at the Champions League final against Inter Milan on Saturday.

PSG took a 2-0 lead 20 minutes into the game as it seeks its first Champions League title in club history.

Former Inter forward Achraf Hakimi gave Paris Saint-Germain a 1-0 lead with a 12th-minute goal. Desire Doue found Hakimi, who was left open inside Inter’s box, with a quick pass, and Hakimi’s right-footed shot got past Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

Hakimi played for Inter during the 2020-21 season and moved to PSG on a five-year deal in July 2021.
