Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns could be parting ways soon, but how soon?

According to John Gambadoro, via CantGuardBook on X, Durant is expected to be traded from the team before the NBA draft, which is on June 25.

So, that means we may only be weeks away from Durant leaving Phoenix, but where will he head?

The Suns hoping to move Durant before the draft means they could be angling to get some 2025 picks in exchange for him.

In all likelihood, they would ask for even more than that, but it would be part of the package.

There has been a lot of speculation about the path Phoenix would take: would they try to get win-now talent and keep their chances of postseason success alive, or start a rebuilding process?

No one is quite sure where Durant will land.

All sorts of teams have been mentioned, with the Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, and Miami Heat often coming up.

Recently, there was speculation that he could join Anthony Edwards in Minnesota, so it’s clear that no one is certain of his final destination.

There are many questions about Durant and his road ahead, but if this new report is true, we should be getting insight about him soon.

There are only a few weeks left until the draft, and if the Suns are moving him before that, things could develop quickly, and the NBA could be drastically changing.
