The English Premier League season is over, and contracts are set to expire. Several players are on the lookout for a new club, perhaps the most notable being Manchester City legend Kevin de Bruyne.
He leaves behind a remarkable legacy. Arguably the greatest midfielder in the competition’s history, the Belgium international won six league titles, five EFL Cups, two FA Cups and a Champions League during his 10-year spell with Pep Guardiola.
De Bruyne has yet to make a decision regarding his future, officially at least, but it’s looking like he’ll be playing for newly crowned Serie A champions Napoli next season. Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has all but confirmed it.
