Bulls Could Make Surprising Roster Move With 2 Key Players

The Chicago Bulls remain a team that can’t seem to make a big splash in the Eastern Conference, and they want to change that.

But, what is the best way to make it happen?

They might have to pursue some changes to their roster in the summer.

A new rumor says the Bulls may lose one of their biggest stars.

“This is outside speculative, but two different East personnel figures believe that the Bulls are unlikely to retain both Josh Giddey and Coby White. If Giddey gets locked in, White could be moved. I’m skeptical of that idea because that sounds like a radical concept for the Bulls and that doesn’t sound like them. Saving money sounds like them, but not like this,” said Hardwood Paroxysm, per NBACentral.

So, it sounds like it’ll either be Giddey or White in the new season, but we aren’t sure who will be leaving.

Both brought a lot to the team in 2025-26.

Giddey averaged 14.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.2 assists on 46.5 percent from the field during his first season with the Bulls.

White, on the other hand, produced 20.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists and has been with the Bulls since he entered the league in 2019-20.

Since White has been with the Bulls longer, does he hold the advantage?

It all depends on what the Bulls decide to do and who they think can help them the most.

Is there a chance they are able to make it work with both players?

That is possible, but the Bulls aren’t happy with how they fell short this year, so they will probably want to make moves.

And they don’t have a lot of options, so the split of Giddey and White seems more likely.
