Mikal Bridges has spent one season with the New York Knicks, but will it be his last?
There are a lot of rumors floating around about the team right now, and Bridges is at the center of one of them.
Evan Sidery is reporting that Bridges could be moved instead of signing a four-year, $156 million extension with the Knicks.
“Mikal Bridges becomes eligible for a four-year, $156 million extension this offseason. Unless Bridges takes a discount, the Knicks could look to move him for a star. A potential re-trade of Bridges and necessary salaries to the Suns for Kevin Durant is an idea being floated,” Sidery posted on X.

Once again, the idea of Kevin Durant going to the Knicks is being floated.
This isn’t the first time fans have heard about Durant moving to New York, and Bridges could be part of a deal that makes it happen.
Bridges averaged 17.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists during his season with the Knicks.
He fit well alongside his old buddies Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, but the Knicks are still contemplating changes.
Even if Bridges isn’t in a Durant deal, he could still be leaving New York and heading for a different team.
The Knicks are obviously kicking around a few ideas and thinking about shaking up the roster.
Whether it be for Durant or someone else, they are ready to take steps that will help them improve.
The fact that Bridges’ name is in this rumor means fans should brace for him to pack his bags and head out.
Nothing is certain, but the rumors around New York are growing.
Will it be Bridges, Karl-Anthony Towns, or more leaving, and who will they get in return?
