AEG Presents has acquired Nashville-based Gary Musick Productions, a special events production company.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The deal expands AEG Presents’ presence beyond concerts and festivals into corporate event management and destination services.
The deal includes Gary Musick Productions’ affiliated destination management arm Destination Musick City, which handles corporate groups visiting Nashville.
Gary Musick Productions has operated for 45 years, producing corporate events, scenic fabrication, custom set design, live streaming, branding integration and audio-visual services to clients including Fortune 500 companies, sports teams, cruise lines, and charitable organizations. The company claims to have handled more than 10,000 events during its history.

Following the transaction, the Gary Musick Productions’ team will remain based in Nashville and Musick will continue to lead the company. The target company will also retain its name.
The integration allows Gary Musick Productions to expand into music festival production and concert touring, areas where AEG maintains extensive relationships, the companies said.
For AEG Presents, the acquisition expands its presence into the corporate events market. In 2023, the global corporate event market was valued at $330.9 billion, and is forecast to reach $730.7 billion by 2035, representing a CAGR of 7% from 2024 to 2035, according to Allied Market Research.
AEG Presents has made a series of new appointments across its global management teams in recent months to further grow its business.
Two weeks ago, AEG promoted Joe Jaeger to Vice President, Integrated Marketing and Strategy, within its Global Partnerships division. In March, seven executives were promoted to SVP roles in March including Andrew Bersch to SVP of Finance & Administration, Holli Branam, Bret Heiman and Alex McArthur to SVP of Sales, Samantha Fernandez to SVP of Festival Activations, and Brianne Grimley to SVP of Venue Activations. Eric Kohler has also been promoted to SVP of Global Partnerships.
In February, Andrew Klein was promoted to President of Global Partnerships.
