The revamped Philippine women’s national volleyball team is led by reigning league Best Setter and team captain Jia De Guzman, alongside Best Opposite Spiker Angel Canino.

Grouped in Pool B, the squad looks to boost its world rankings and build on last year’s breakthrough bronze finish—the country’s first AVC medal in 63 years—at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

The Jorge De Brito-coached team is set for a busy pool stage, with matches scheduled against Mongolia, New Zealand, Iran, and last year’s runner-up Kazakhstan.
