It looked like the Indiana Pacers were going to lose on Thursday night, but then they rallied and pulled off one of the biggest comebacks in recent Finals history.
Yes, it was thanks to the players on the floor, but it wasn’t just the stars on the court who made it possible.
Writing on social media, Magic Johnson gave special love to Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle.
“Give Coach Rick Carlisle a lot of credit – he made some outstanding adjustments coming out of the half, especially in the fourth quarter!” Johnson posted on X.

The Pacers were looking rough in the first half of the game.
Their turnovers were particularly painful for them, and they kept handing the ball over to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Things were still looking bad at the start of the third quarter, but the team kept at it, continued to chip away, and eventually pulled off a remarkable 111-110 win.
Carlisle figured out what his team needed to do, and he stuck with a plan.
He did make adjustments, especially after noticing how hard the Thunder were defending Tyrese Haliburton.
He allowed the rest of the team to attempt more shots and found ways to get Haliburton free.
That eventually led to the final-second shot that sealed the deal and gave them a massive Game 1.
Now Carlisle has to be careful because the Thunder are aware of how he thinks and will be waiting for adjustments.
They will then make adjustments of their own to battle back.
Carlisle did a terrific job of finding ways to win on Thursday night, but can he do it again in Game 2?
